Hunter and Brett

Hunter and Allie were at the hospital when Krista had Brett, but because they arent siblings, they werent allowed back in the L&D department.  Hunter was soooo upset after I came from seeing Brett and told him we were leaving, he yelled "leaving??? Without even seeing the baby?????!!!!"  I felt pretty bad he couldnt go back so the next day we took a road trip to Chads and visited with that cute new baby.  Allie wouldnt sit still long enough for me to grab a pic of her, but here is Hunter holding him.  He was pretty excited by all of it!

Brett is here!!!

My little nephew Brett finally came into the world 8/25/2010 and I couldnt be prouder!!  He is adorable and sweet and small and yummy smelling and perfect and I just love him so much already!! 

Someone come over!

Someone please come over and help me put this stuff away!  What are we going to do with Cherry pie, Banana muffins and buttermilk biscuits (not pictured!)??

Also, check out the cute wire stand in the background there.  I found it at Walmart a week ago for $7.  I thought it was soooo cute, but man, it was an ugly color!!  Hot, fucia pink!  Normally, I wouldnt mind but that wasnt going to go in my kitchen very well, so I grabbed a can of spray paint and took care of that!

Project day with the Hubby: Part I

I suckered Jeff into a few crafty projects I wanted to do this weekend...here is one of them.  I cant wait to go to the thrift store and load up on some more mason jars of all sizes!  And I really cant wait to fill these babies up with sand, put a candle in them and hang them up!  Here is the link I used for the tutorial
