Cemetery visit...been too long

Jeff and I used to have this routine; every Sunday morning we would wake up, go to SB to get coffee, stop by Albertsons to grab some flowers and/or balloons and head off to the cemetery.  We never stayed very long, we (almost) ever cried, we would dust off her headstone, say a prayer and go off and along with our week...until the next Sunday. This went on for the better part of a year, maybe year and a half.  Then Hunter came along and the visits became more sporadic; we started missing some Sundays.  Then, Jeff's brother offered him a job in Washington and we took it.  I still remember forcing my parents to promise me that they would visit AT LEAST once a month.  If I remember right I was pretty hysterical and they probably would have agreed to anything at that point just to calm me down.  When we would visit on holidays visiting the cemetery was always on my "must do, absolutely can not leave town without doing" list.  Then, after 20 short months in WA., we were suddenly and unexpectedly moving back to Las Vegas.  But, we werent visiting the cemetery the way I thought we would.  And how could we?  Life was happening all around us and we were all tied up in it.  Hunter was 2 and Jeff and I were very tied up with trying to find employment and selling our home we had left in WA.
Now, things are pretty different around our house, defiantly not anywhere near the couple that used to grab coffee and flowers and spend the early hours of a Sunday morning at the cemetery mourning the loss of their first child.  So, one afternoon last week, not on Sunday morning but rather at dusk and all alone I went to see that little headstone and sit with it for a while.  And I didnt get to "focus, or mourn, or think" the way I wanted to, but I realized that it is still a special place for me and I should make more of an effort to go there.  On the way there I started thinking about the last time I was there and realized it had been over 2 years!! I defiantly cant let life get into the way of visiting my first, special, beautiful baby again.
